A SMALL FAMILLE ROSE SQUARE BOX AND COVER
QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK IN GILT AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The top of the cover is finely painted with a riverside landscape scene depicting a dwelling in the foreground surrounded by tall trees, beside a wooden bridge. The sides of the box and the cover are decorated with key-fret borders in gilt, set against a coral ground.
