Finished all round, the ratchet-supported hinged top over a dummy drawer, real drawer and green silk-lined work bag, the sides with swing-out drawers fitted for sewing and writing, the rear incorporating a retractable fire-screen with green silk lining, the legs headed by rosewood and partridgewood lozenges, the main drawer with Norman Adams label
