JIAQING IRON-RED SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1796-1820)
The cavetto is decorated in famille rose and gilt with four medallions enclosing vases of flowers and suspended lanterns that encircle a finger citron, peach and pomegranate cartouche, all on a yellow ground embellished with lotus flowers and foliage. The reverse with five iron-red bats amongst clouds above waves and rocks.
