The cylindrical brushpot is carved in high relief to the exterior with an equestrian lady accompanied by a servant leading her horse and another carrying a flag. The reverse is carved with a calligraphic inscription.
8 in. (20.3 cm.) high, on wood stand

Private European Collection, acquired in Belgium in the 1960's and then by descent.
