A SMALL MOTTLED CELADON AND RUSSET JADE BALUSTER VASE
18TH CENTURY
The archaistic vase has twin openwork scroll handles and is carved in low relief to the exterior with a broad central frieze of raised nodes between bands of petals to the base and the shoulders. The stone is of a celadon tone with russet and cloudy white inclusions and veins.
