A BLUE AND WHITE BOWL
17TH OR 18TH CENTURY
The bowl has a slightly flaring rim and is decorated in washes of blue tone, depicting two ladies, one holding a scroll, the other holding a pen leaning on a rock, both gazing towards two sparrows in flight. The interior is decorated with a pomegranate spray, the rim with a floral band.
7 3/8 in. (18.7 cm.) diam.
