A BLUE AND WHITE 'LANDSCAPE' ROULEAU VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The vase is decorated in vivid blue tones with a mountainous river landscape with rocks, waterfalls and pavilions in which scholars are depicted with their attendants and a fisherman is painted steering his boat to shore. The neck is embellished with various decorative bands.
