GUANGXU IRON-RED SIX-CHARACTER MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1875-1908)
It is decorated all over with colourful butterflies in flight. A frieze of lotus heads, scrolling foliage and shou characters encircles the shoulders above a raised gilt band. Further bands of pendant ruyi heads encircle the mouth and base respectively.
