Of baluster form, worked in silver wire and decorated in various coloured enamels with a hawk in maple and cherry blossom trees and two pheasants beside a stream on a deep blue ground, the foot with bands of lappets, chrysanthemums, stylised ho-o and dragons, the neck with bamboo grasses and flowers on a light green ground, the cover with three panels depicting butterflies, ho-o and dragon, the finial in the form of a purple chrysanthemum flower, silver rims
