A Four-Case Inro
Signed Kounsai and sealed, Edo Period (early 19th century)
Decorated in rich brown lacquer and inlaid in coloured cloisonné enamels in Hirata style with a cicada in a pine tree, the reverse with rocks, nashiji interiors, fundame rims, iron ojime in the form of a vase similarly inlaid in cloisonné enamels
