Decorated in gold, silver, red and black hiramaki-e, takamaki-e, nashiji and inlays of mother-of-pearl and silver foil against an unusual mottled red and black lacquer ground with flags and banners representing the Boy's Festival, black lacquer interiors, fundame rims
