LATE 17TH CENTURY
The later plate within a profusely carved foliate and floral surround and with cherubs to either side and in the cresting above a central cartouche with Coat of Arms, the apron centered with cherub masks, originally silvered
57 in. (145 cm.) high; 36½ in. (93 cm.) wide

Lot Essay

Although stylistically there is no reason why this mirror can not be English, the Coat of Arms is not, which may indicate a Dutch or Flemish origin or a commission from a Dutch emigré in London
