MARK OF JOSEPH ANGELL SR. & JR., LONDON, 1840
Modeled as a tree stump, the ground with English rose, Scottish thistle and Irish shamrock, each stump with hinged cover, the center stump with inkwell and hole for pen, the cover engraved with a crest, marked on base, cover bezels, the inkwell 1832, the base and inkwell also stamped SOBEY
7 in. (17.8 cm.) long; 18 oz. (576 gr.)
