Circular, the centre painted with officers from the Life Guard Uhlan Regiment, one mounted and two on foot with further figures and a lake in the background, within a gilt rim, impressed and gilt ciselé with a ribbon-tied wreath of laurel and oak leaves converging on the Imperial arms, inscribed on the reverse in Russian 'The L[ife] G[uard] Uhlan Regiment After the paint[ing] by Balashov [copied by] N. Dudin 1879 [yr.]', marked under base with underglaze green factory mark
