On a naturalistic oval base, realistically cast as a Kabardin raising his hand with a horsewhip with a barefoot boy in the saddle in front of him, signed and dated on base in Cyrillic 'E. LANCERAY 1878' and with the Cyrillic foundry mark 'N. SHTANGE.'
