An oval hardstone cameo pendant, depicting the three quarter face of a lady, reputedly Louise May Alcott, 1832-88, the American author best remembered for her novel Little Women. The pendant mount with seed pearl surrround and brooch fitting, in later fitted case stamped Hancocks & Co.
