A SUPERB PRIVATE COLLECTION OF RARE WHISKY

The following lots 187 to 210 come from the home of a noble Italian family, one of the most important castellos in the Veneto. This impressive collection of rare spirits forms part of a cellar that was assembled in the 1960s. The focus of this part of the collection is rare bottlings of single malt whisky, then later in the sale lots 273-288 you'll find an eccentric collection of spirits ranging from 19th century Cognac to magnums of Marc de Bourgogne, with varied treasures in-between. The whiskies come from a range of excellent distilleries and include Macallan from the 1950s, Laphroaig from the 1960s and a selection of bottles from the Samaroli Imports range - bottles that are rarely seen in the market.
