Details
Château Canon--Vintage 2007
Saint-Emilion, 1er grand cru classé
In original wooden cases
Tasting note: The strongest effort from Canon since 1982 and before 2009, the 2007 (75 Merlot and 25 Cabernet Franc) exhibits a dark ruby/purple colour along with a beautiful bouquet of crushed rocks, boysenberries, blueberries, black raspberries, and liquorice. The soft tannins, classic feel and texture, and medium to full-bodied, lengthy finish with no hard edges make for an enjoyable, potentially complex wine to drink over the next 15 years. Robert Parker, Wine Advocate 188, April 2010
