A RUSSIAN SILVER-GILT AND CLOISONNE ENAMEL TEA-GLASS HOLDER
MARK OF IVAN SALTYKOV, MOSCOW, 1889
Decorated with two bands of scrolls and flowers divided by a turquoise enamel bead band, the decoration in red, green, white and 3 shades of blue on frosted gilt ground, the bracket feet with horizontal bands of powder blue tongue motifs, angular handle with vertical knopped and part-enamelled grip, the front with applied vacant gilt disc reserve above stylised white drapery and flanked by dark blue geometric motifs below red 6-pointed stars
