A lace fan
the leaf of Point d'Angleterre worked with Neptune in a chariot, two fish in a river and exotic flowers, with ivory sticks, the guardsticks carved and pierced with a lady, and with backing guardsticks acting as stretchers held with silver rivets with flowerhead finials similar to the flowerheads at the handle - 10in (26cm.), circa 1750, (guardstick repaired)
