Compare to a similar vase with a Qianlong mark in the Victoria and Albert Museum, illustrated by R. Kerr, Chinese Ceramics, Porcelain of the Qing Dynasty, London, 1986, pl. 25. Other Qianlong examples include one from the T.Y. Chao collection, sold at Christie's New York, 20 March 1997, lot 128; one illustrated by R. Krahl, Chinese Ceramics from the Meiyintang Collection, London, 1994, vol. 2, no. 936.

A Jiaqing example was sold at Christie's Hong Kong, 7 July 2003, lot 669.
