the shaded indigo field with multicoloured hooked lozenges, angular floral sprays, serrated leaves, animal figures, birds and various flowerheads around a single column of five ivory linked and serrated lozenge shaped pole medallions containing similar motifs, in brick-red panelled border of octagons with stellar flowerheads and angular serrated leaf vine between ivory and light blue flowerhead stripes, outer hooked vine, zig-zag and barber-pole stripes, slight overall wear, signed and dated in one corner --15ft. x 6ft.9in.(457cm. x 206cm.)
