With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with diamond hour markers in 1950 and its subsequent sale on 3 February 1951.


Production of reference 2443 was launched in 1948. According to research, the present watch is one of less than 6 examples of this reference in platinum to appear in public to date.

Reference 2443 is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 134, pl. 188.
