A FINELY CARVED WHITE JADE RECUMBENT RAM AND BIRD GROUP
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The rounded stone is carved in the form of a recumbent ram detailed with long horns and well-defined hooves grasping a lingzhi spray in its mouth, and a long-tailed bird perched on its back with a floral branch in its beak. The stone is of an even, milky white tone.
