QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The colour painting on silk depicts a seated offical, dressed in a blue robe, accompanied by three young boys in a terraced complex titled Fushou Tang, 'Hall of Fortune and Longevity', the adjacent quarter with two juveniles studying, all within a garden detailed with trees and rocks, with two attendants carrying a tray bearing a tea cup.

Inscribed and signed: Jin Tingbiao
Two seals of the artist: Ting and Biao
One collector's seal: Wang Jiqian jia zhencang, 'The Wang Jiqian Family Collection'
