A FINE UNDERGLAZE-BLUE AND YELLOW-ENAMEL DECORATED 'DRAGON' BOWL
KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN DOUBLE CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722)
The bowl is finely potted with rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, and decorated around the exterior with two sinuous five-clawed dragons striding amidst ruyi clouds and flame-scrolls in pursuit of flaming pearls, above a band of overlapping petal lappets encircling the foot. The interior is decorated with a central medallion enclosing a third dragon.
