A BLUE OVERLAY WHITE GLASS MALLET VASE
QIANLONG FOUR-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN DOUBLE SQUARES AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795)
The vase has a broad base rising to a rounded shoulder under a high cylindrical neck, carved through the blue overlay to the white ground with two long-tailed phoenix in flight amidst cloud scrolls. The blue overlay base is incised with the reign mark within double squares.
