A FINE SATINWOOD AND EBONY CABINET ON STAND
INDIA, LATE 17TH CENTURY, ON LATER STAND IN THE LATE 17TH CENTURY STYLE
Of rectangular form with two main doors opening to reveal nine drawers, the borders carved with elegant foliate scrolling tendrils, with spiralling brass handle on either side, with original and functioning lock and key and openwork brass lock plates, the later carved ebony stand with four twist-turned feet and openwork panels with makara heads, birds and a cherub amidst foliage
