each with a cane panelled back with a foliate cresting and flanked by figure masks representing Diana and a Bacchanalian figure, the caned panelled seats with squabs and with a shaped scallop-shell decorated rail, on square tapering legs headed with cabochon ornament and terminating in foliate feet, German, late 19th century
