ATTRIBUTABLE TO SHAYKH MUHAMMAD AMIR OF KARRAYA OR HIS STUDIO, CALCUTTA, INDIA, CIRCA 1840
Watercolour on paper, the grey horse standing on a racetrack and mounted by a jockey wearing a white and burgundy jersey and holding the reins, a plain cartouche along the bottom edge, within black and yellow borders, a pencil identification in Persian in the lower right corner reading "G.. Gilmour (?) Sahib", mounted, framed and glazed, in good condition
