ATTRIBUTED TO THE COMPTON POTTERY, EARLY 20TH CENTURY

This is a rare variation of the more well known Compton scroll pot. Although not stamped the modelling and consistency of clay would certainly suggest a Compton attribution and as such they could have been a one off special commission.
