Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with diamonds in 1912 and its subsequent sale on April 25th, 1913.

To the best of our knowledge this watch has never before been offered in public.

The present example is a fine blend of horology and jewellry. The delicate case with filigree-style design set with diamonds is further enhanced by the lovely chain. In remarkably unmolested condtition given its age, the watch features a newer silvered dial which may have been changed during a servicing to reflect a more modern feel.
