Lot Essay

Accompanied by a Vacheron Constantin Guarantee Certificate dated November 9, 2010, wooden Vacheron Constantin presentation box with travel case, and outer packaging.

The American 1921 from Vacheron Constantin's Historiques collection was inspired by an avant-garde wristwatch made in a very small series for the North American market during the Roaring Twenties.

The model is distinguished by its cushion-shaped case with the crown positioned at one o'clock, the sand-blasted finished dial with black painted Breguet numerals and black oxidized Breguet hands.

The sapphire crystal case back reveals the in-house developed and manufactured new cal. 4400 movement stamped with the prestigious Geneva seal.
