Original thick paper chemise with pochoir title on front cover, original cloth portfolio illustrated by pochoir after a design by Picasso. Provenance: pencil notes translating some of the French titles into English.
FIRST EDITION. Each of the 30 images is a collaborative work, Picasso's cut-ups interacting with Viller's photographs. Number 355 of 900 from an edition of 1000 copies. Villers began taking portraits of Picasso, Arp, and numerous other contemporaries from the mid 1950s onwards.
