The rectangular case profusely chased with foliate scrolls, acorn finials to corners, the handle with scroll junctions, glazed panels to top and sides, engraved back door, the silvered dial within a foliate scroll engraved mask, Roman hours and Breguet-style blued-steel hands, floral engraving to centre, the single train timepiece movement with chain fusee and platform lever escapement, the backplate with two winding arbors for 'set hands' and 'wind up', engraved John Cragg 8 Northampton Square LONDON, key lacking
