in light and dark hues, depicting Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm Viktor Albert in military uniform and wearing his pickelhaube (spiked helmet) and Princess Augusta Victoria versus Albert I of Belgium and Queen Elisabeth, circa 1917 -- king 3¼in. (8.4cm), pawn 2¼in. (5.7cm), and the sandalwood games box, the cover carved in high relief with a coat of arms, the obverse with a chess and combined Polish draughts board, inscribed in ink to the side Camp de Zeist 1914-1917, and the set of draught pieces, each incised Zeist, the obverse of each inscribed with the names of battle sites within Belgium during the First World War
