Paul's brother Thomas moved to Windsor in the mid 1750s and apart from a brief five year period 1760-5, he remained there until his death. In 1764, Thomas was appointed Deputy Ranger of Windsor Great Park. Paul spent a great deal of time with his brother in Windsor and the two produced numerous independent and collaborative drawings and watercolours of Windsor, in particular the castle, and its surroundings, including a number of views of Eton, many of which are in the Royal Collection. In 1776-7, Paul and Thomas published 'Six views of Windsor and Eton'.
