A CENTRAL ITALIAN FLINTLOCK BLUNDERBUSS
LATE 18TH CENTURY
With two-stage iron barrel flared at the turned muzzle and inlaid with engraved brass panels on the octagonal breech section, flat lock etched with a mark, walnut three-quarter stock carved in low relief with foliage behind the barrel-tang and rear ramrod-pipe, engraved brass mounts, and later ramrod (adapted to folding butt)
