With two-piece skull rising to a low comb, barred visor riveted to the bluntly-pointed peak, the latter with recessed border, bevor shaped to the chin, pierced brass plume-holder to the rear, single bluntly-pointed gorget-plate front and rear (front plate repaired), and later domed brass lining-rivets and brass locking-catches
