With slender double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section signed on each side within the deep central fuller at the forte, short oblong ricasso, symmetrical iron guard formed of slender bars each either of flattened diamond section or rising to a shallow medial ridge on the outer face, comprising grooved quillon-block, vertically recurved quillons each with bud-shaped finial (copper-braized repair to one stem), upper and lower side-rings joined by bars, the lower side-rings each with later pierced plate, and knuckle-guard attached to the flattened scent-bottle-shaped pommel by a screw, and later spirally fluted wire-bound grip with Turk's heads
