With tapering double-edged blade of flattened oval section cut with a central fuller on each face at the forte, the fullers respectively with traces of a signature on one side, traces of latten inlay on the other side and each extending along the oblong ricasso, iron guard of rounded bars comprising three side-rings, arms, straight quillons, knuckle-guard and inner-guard of slender rounded bars (copper and copper-alloy braized repairs to guard), later good quality wire-bound grip with Turk's heads, and faceted barrel-shaped pommel with prominent tang-button
