With tapering double-edged blade cut with triple pierced fullers at the forte and etched with lines, swags and the signature 'LVIS' and 'AIALA', grooved rectagular ricasso with original leather collar with applied red leather pattern to the outer face, characteristic iron basket-guard of flattened bars with short horizontally recurved rear-quillon, inner thumb-ring, and with 'USTAD GRGOR' signature on the rear of the guard, silver-wire-bound grip with Turk's heads, and elaborate cast and chased silver-gilt shield-shaped 'cat's head' pommel, in original brass-mounted black-leather-covered scabbard
