With tapering two-stage fluted barrel with turned muzzle, girdle and breech, the latter signed 'LAZARINO COMINAZZO', plain flat shaped lock with scrolled wheel-bracket, sprung pan-cover and chiselled cock, finely figured walnut full stock profusely inlaid with fine pierced panels engraved with flowering foliage inhabited by monster-heads, finely chiselled and pierced iron mounts decorated en suite, foliate chiselled trigger, and later wooden ramrod with turned baluster iron tip chiselled with foliage (tang-screw repositioned, barrel possibly associated, some restoration to stock, fore-end an expert replacement)
