With iron head with crescentic cutting-edge and squared pean, the upper and lower flats each finely decorated with gold-damascened foliage, the faces of the blade each finely chiselled in low relief respectively with foliage inhabited by deer and birds, the head set with foiled semiprecious stones, on tubular haft, the upper and lower portions of steel with gold-damascened ornament, the central section with tooled and gilt leather-covered wood section (worn)
