With slightly shortened two-stage octagonal to round barrel with turned girdle and with gold-lined maker's stamp and three gold-lined fleur-de-lys at the breech, scroll engraved tang, lock finely chiselled in low relief with scrollwork, human masks and monster-heads, figured walnut full stock profusely carved in relief with scrollwork (old repair to base of butt), and iron mounts chiselled with scrollwork and figures (pommel possibly an associated working replacement), iron belt-hook, and iron-tipped ramrod
