The hood with pierced decoration to top and later silvered ball finials, fretwork sides and fluted column supports, the trunk and base with chequered stringing, the silvered chapter ring to brass dial with Roman hours and Arabic five minutes, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, strike/silent to arch, signed Charles Cabrier LONDON, pierced blued-steel hands, the eight-day movement with recoil anchor escapement and rack striking to bell, with pendulum; two brass-cased weights and two case keys
