The head-board profusely carved with twin-arcaded panels of floral marquetry flanked by outer bearded male terms and central female term, below foliate detail and a pair of panels carved with opposing dragon-like creatures and flanked by projecting stiff-leaf carved corbels, the arched foot-board between octagonal uprights, the large fluted column posts with square section bases and Ionic-type capitals supporting the tester which has trailing vine frieze rails and nine panels carved with foliate lozenges and geometrically-moulded central panels carved with projecting male masks
