MARK OF PETER ARCHAMBO (I), LONDON, 1737
Oblong with rounded corners on hoof feet, crested with a dragon atop a cap of maintenance, with two depressions over which sit two silver fittings, an inkwell with four holes for quills or pens around detachable cover, the other a pounce pot, top pierced with beads, crosslets and scrolls, both crested to one side, crest repeated on rim of inkwell, baase inscribed with scratch-weight 26.10
