The top of case with an urn and pinecone finials, above an arch and suspending drapery swags and scrolling acanthus leaves, a glass aperture below dial with classical mask to lower section, the associated enamel dial with Roman hours, Arabic five-minutes and concentric date hand, signed Thomé A VERSAILLES, the associated twin barrel movement with anchor escapement, silk suspension and count wheel strike to bell, with pendulum; winding key and regulating key
