Lot Essay

Christopher Isherwood (1904-1986) was a British novelist, noted for his Berlin stories Goodbye to Berlin and Mr Norris Changes Trains. However he is perhaps best known for his 1964 novel A Single Man, which was adapted into a film of the same title in 2009.
